In Every Campaign There is an Opportunity
The opportunity could be to position a candidate or neutralize a weakness. It could be to counter an attack or respond to a crisis. It could be to seek the support of a defeated rival’s supporters. And, in today’s political reality, it could be to ask for the support of former and moderate Republicans – a challenging but fertile audience.
Strategic messaging can capitalize on any opportunity.
Seizing an opportunity requires an objective assessment of the political climate. It requires identifying a specific goal or what it will take to win a campaign. And it takes understanding voter behavior. Hyperpartisanship and tribalism add the need for mulitcultural sensitivity and experience communicating across racial, gender and party lines. It requires creating a message with persuasive rhetoric and effective visual design, and delivering it through effective channels.
For nearly four decades I’ve demonstrated the skill and ability to leverage political opportunity with messaging that helps candidates win. With so much at stake in this election, I want to help good candidates every way I can.
